Well, i'm currently working on fixing up my old Peavey Raptor plus, which i got from my uncle 2 years ago. I'm done with almost everything, exept the nut work.
Here's the deal:
I need to get a new nut for it, but i don't know any luthiers that can do this kind of work for me. And i suspect that making a nut from scratch is a very difficoult job?
Any suggestions what i should do?
Thanks,
-Erlend
í´m guessing that is an electric guitar... so which type of nut you are looking for?
i have peavey as well but is a Tracer it has a floyd rose but the nut is schaller or khaler i don really remember right now, its weird.

Well, the Raptor plus that i have is an 2003 model, which is very different than the 2005 model.
It's an electric guitar, with a very shallow string spacing, and i think 24quot; scale length.
I tried emailing both Peavey's repair department and Peavey's parts department, but here's the answers that i got:
The repair guys: quot; You should try to contact Parts@peavey.com instead
