I've got no skillz. I admit it. My father was in town this weekend and I tried to take some pics of my a few of my intruments with his digital camera, but they didn't turn out too well. Still, I thought i'd share:

This is my newest, my Agile Fakelespaul loaded with a DD in the neck and a DC in the bridge. I replaced the tophats with white speed knobs. And now I'm considering trying to remove the gold finish from the hardware...
This is the Stndard Jazz I got for free when I was selling guitars for a living. I also had a Standard P, but I sold it. Dimarzio UltraJazz pups in this one, and a Warmoth snakeskin pickguard that I think looks pretty badass on the Arctic White:My Warwick Streamer Std. 5-tring; When I bought this, it wasn't offered in America with the Tobocco finish. I saw a 4-string version in this color on eBay a few months ago, though, so I assume that at some point they DID sell this finihs here. I had to have mine custom ordered from Germany (though, thankfully, at no additional cost):
Oh, and here's an especialy bad pic of my Tele:That concludes today's show and tell...

nice gutiars man...next work on your nunchaku and bow-hunting skillz!

Good pics man!

leave the gold on the white LP .. looks great that way!

consider a tripod too ... either that, or lay off the caffein

cheers

Well, it turns out that when my Dad gave me the camera, it wa set to something other than autoexposure, but I was too stupid/unfamiliar with it to notice.

I love the Fat-Tele!!! It is a guitar I allways loved...

how does that tele sound?

I always wanted to try a telecaster with a seth lover neck.

Nice guitars! The one I really want is the Warwick bass, though. My Carlo Robelli bass is the only black mark in my arsenal, so I may sell it and get one like yours. How do you like the Warwick? Are the stock pickups good?

The stock pickups are very, very, very, very low output but they've got a nice sound. I installed push-pulls to split the coils (and switched the pots from 25K to 250K in the process, since 25K on a passive system made no sense to me) in an effort to get a bit more tonal flexibility out of them, but it didn't really work. Split, they sound pretty much the same, just with 60 cycle hum.

But they one sound they make is a pretty pleasing one. Very woody. Very funky. For finger-style funk parts, I've never come across a better bass. And the extreme highs have a very nice, clear bell-like sound to them that I've passed off as clean guitar on more than one recording. It's a bad choice for slap, because the string spacing is so very close, but I've never foudn slap to be much more than a way to get attention at the guitar store...

This one is a fair bit removed from what a Seth would sound like. Both pickups are overwound. The bridge pup has a bit of a P90 thing going on, though it's snarl is higher in the freq range. The HB is very thick and sounds great clean(ish), but turns to mush under much gain. It came stock with a 5-way, so I've got split sounds on positions 2 and 4. 2 gives a fairly concincing SRV-style blues sound. 4 is perfect for sneaking in ANOTHER layer of guitar in a crowsded recording. It manages to be heard without getting in the way. I don't pretend to understand; I just know it works. 3 and 5 are my standbys, though. 3 is rockoutwithyour****out. 5 is just brash, nasty nowonderjoestrummerusedatele tele.Originally Posted by Quencho092how does that tele sound?
