Someone posted this jam track...and called it quot;Gambale Jamquot;. I wasn't sure I agreed that it sounded like his style...but it sure was fun to play to!
Have a listen if you will.

Great playing, but the sound was awfully muffled.
Lotsa cool stuff man
Awesome!
I love this fusion-sound (mostly a bit dark). Sorta Shawn Lane.Nice playing man!

nice man..
this is my take at it..

this was my first take after listening to the track two times before hand so the phrasing is not as focused as yours.
fatigue,
You definitely have some chops, my friend! My only suggestion would be to work a little more on phrasing (creating a melody line as though you were singing....versus simply picking as many notes as possible.)
Your technique is very good....you've got a lot of speed and your tone is great. I just didn't get the feeling that you were listening to the quot;surprisequot; changes in the backing track. There's a real interesting chord progression in that backing track...with a resolve to a B-major chord, and I think if you re-played it with some runs that blended with those changes a little better, you'd nail it!!
Cool...very cool.

Hehe that track has seen alot of action, I use it as a testtrack for new stuff as well...so I have a whole bunch of them.
