Hey everyone im new to the board,
ok heres my problem, im planning on getting a deluxe strat with the s-1 boost but i wanna replace the bridge pup with a custum. I had a custum on my les paul and it was awesome. I play a hard rock leaning more to the metal side type of music and i want a more ballzy sound for my strat. would this be a good idea??
thanx alot guys
Well, first of all, welcome to the forum!
Yeah, i've heard great things about Customs in strats. Just keep in mind that it'll sound alot brigther than it did in your LP, because of the construction and woods of the Strat.
Sorry that i can't help ya more .

don't be afraid of an Invader in there man, the nature of a strat will brighten the pickup's signal up considerably. It will sound articulate, ballsy, and huge.
The Demon is a great Strat pickup IMO. If you replace the hex poles with slotted you get less trebble and more mids and growl...clean it's got the PAF twang to it- it gives more character to Strat cleans.
I recommened the Custom Custom for the bridge of a Strat.
The custom will work great in a strat! If you love the sound of it, get one for your strat. You wont be sorry. I have played the custom in a LP and a strat and both are great.
