HAILS Guys.. i´ve been on the ibanez site last night.. and i saw some Good H-H/Floyd/neck-thru models...
but what i don´t know is ....
can i place the volume knob like.. a custom order? and exclude the tone knob !??!
i mean, without paying a lot for like a customshop mod?!!?

the ibanez custom shop is not available to the general public, only endorsees, so unless your name is steve vai, mick thompson or alike, you got no chance. sorry..

but yea, those guitars looks quite nice. i wonder how the necks feel on em

dude, if you just want to change the wiring, you can do that yourself!

if you wanted, you could disconnect the tone pot and leave it like that.. or do you not want a knob there at all?

It's not possible, but like said, if you don't need a tone pot you could take the vol pot off and replace the tone pot with the vol pot. It would leave a hole, but would it really matter? The vol may not be in the best position there then, though. Are you really sure too that the vol pot's currently in the way?

If your talkin about the RG42, I just got the fixed bridge version. As for the neck it is a 5 piece maple wizard 2 thru neck finished off in a flat black. It is currently my fav player.

I love Ibanez necks they are great IMO. To my knowledge they don't make any without a tone pot.

I had a white PGM30 and there was only a volume pot...I liked it a lot, but it had this ****ty LO-TRS tremolo system /cheaper version of the PGM/ and I sold it...

well.. you could always go totaly fukkin crazy, take out the pots, fill the holes, drill the new pot hole where you want it and refinish the guitar =P
