I just picked up a used strat from the LGS. It's totally lightweight alder/maple with your basic run-o-the-mill pickups, but new CTS pots, new jack and switch. The neck and frets feel great and the color is what I've been after for a long time-Fender Vintage white (#41 on the color chart). from : localhost/fender.com/resources/colors/
Kinda beat so it has that vintage vibe thing going on.
So, gentlemen-here's what I'd like your help with:
1. Vintage strat sound in neck and middle pickups (humcancelling ideally)
2. Fat, quiet, single sized bride humbucker (not a hotrails-a bit brighter and more focued, please)
3. Sexy-hot wiring scheme. (not as ultra sexy as Dr. Barlo's switchstrat 2000)
What do you think? Your thoughts are very much appreciated.
