I got a gear catalogue today and i saw that Hagström is back! I heard it on the radio about a year ago i think but they said it would not be asian made instruments only US high class build, how come they are priced really cheap? I haven't seen a US made instrument under $900 here in sweden, are they really made in the US?
I was a bit sad also when i saw that they don't make any basses!
If you take out marketing, offering gear to artists, huge saleries for the reps, ect, the end product, I think, will be a lot cheaper.
Wouldn't mind getting one of the F-series. Too bad they're not bringing the one's one of the guys from Franz Ferdinand uses, the P46.
Wonder if Gibson will sue over the Swede LOL.

I have a mid 60's Hagstrom III and have been on the look out for a Swede for a long time...Killer guitars with a cool vibe.
I have an odd ball.... It's a 1959 or 60 made by Hagstrum, GOYA.... Red sparkle finnish.... plyood, mother of pearl fingerboard.... one wierd guitar... Bought it at a Garage sale in 1978 or so for $20 or something.... these days it does not work but a vintage dealer i know that wants it wants to give me $600 for it as is... It's not for sale... It kind of looks like a LP body so when i was a kid i used to jump around on my bed with this thing on... my dad had wired a stereo up so i could plug it thru that....

Buddy of mine's got a Swede he's had forever, one of the finest guitars I've ever seen. Damn thing plays like butter!!
