These look badass in eerie dess swirl, so what do you think? are they worth £385 GBP new?

You don't say I thought they just cost a shed load more.
I had one for a year or something. The jackson bridge was decent (FAR from the Ibanez Edge when it comes to smoothness and tuning stability, nonetheless), the pickups were quite decent (Duncan Detonators), the body felt very resonant... the electronics aren't that good, like most Japsons... the volume and tone pots got funky after a while. I ended up selling it and getting the ibanez rg1550.
The jackson isn't a bad guitar, but I think there are better choices for the price tag.

What would you suggest?
I played one the other day at guitar center, sounded really smooth and clean unlike what I was led to believe. The whammy bar hit my leg when I tried to pull it around so I had to swing it around backwards to get it...annoying...overall it was a really fast guitar with a good neck position, it was really comfortable to play.
bump. Thanks to everybody who posted. Anybody else got an opinion?
find a store, play it, see/feel for yourself =P
