Has anyone bought/used one of these?
I'm looking into the bottle rocket primarily as a boost for my F-50 combo. I generally use the contour kicked in on channel 2 as my heavy rhythm tone with the gain rolled back, and would like a slight volume/gain boost for leads.
I don't really wanna do the Tube screamer/Boss SOD thing with this amp. I want it to remain quot;mesa-ishquot; if that makes sense, and the SOD/TS tends to give it a bit more of a british character. Hence why I'm looking into these..though I don't want it to sound like a Rectifier either..more Mark III like.
