Can anybody speak to the quality of the Guild guitars made at Corona California? I am specifically interested in the Bluesbird models made after Westerly was closed, but would be interested in opinions on any Guild electric made at Corona. Thanks, Rusty
fantastic
I wouldn't be concerned with QC at all
AFAIK Fender did the same to Guild that they did to jackson: Packed up the workers, plant , woods and all, and just physically moved the plant...
If, analog to the J/C takeover, this is true and Guild is also still an independent entity just owned by Fender, then the quality should be the same as beforehand.

BTW...my dad has a 74 S-100 and had a 73 S-100 then a had a new S-100 and the new ones are just as good!
I've got an '04 Guild D-55......lovely LOVELY instrument!!!!!
That one piece of gear I will never part with!

I own a Westerly built Benedetto Artist Award and I've played both Westerly built and Corona built Bluesbirds. I didn't notice any difference in quality. That said, it is my understanding that next to none of the Westerly workers transferred to Guild CA. r/rob
they should make s100s
