do you know if the lexicon mpx1 is able to switch channels on you amp when changing presets??????
If your amp is MIDI controllable, than yes, you can do this. You may need to control both devices with a MIDI controller, though, sending out Program Changes via MIDI ...
what about the long program change time????is it true or just harmony central hype?????
Yes, it's long. That's why I would use a MIDI controller as the master PC switcher.

At the moment i've got a behringer fcb1010 midi footcontroller which i use for controlling my replifex.............
My amps are a boogie dc5 and a marshall jcm2000 both with parallel loops.............what i do know is that the behringer has two switches that can change channels on the amp but i do not think that is what you meant by saying quot; That's why I would use a MIDI controller as the master PC switcherquot;........
LOL; no, you got it - use the Behringer as the Program Change master for the amps as well as the Lexicon simultaneously.
lol.....................i am affected by midi-phobia........ .....................but how that (using the fcb as a master program change switcher) could cure the long program change time?????
It can't.
The program change is like 500 mS (1/2 a second), btw, maybe less. It's not like caverns of time.
Is the delay from the pedal or the effects unit?
I recently bought a FCB1010 and haven't used it with my ADA MP-1 yet since I'm waiting for new speakers for my cab. When I used it with a digital amp modeler there was a delay between presets (but that's probably because it's digital - and the delay is there when you switch presets with the knob). Should I expect a delay with the MP-1?
