Well, some of you may have read about my experience with Warmoth, where the pre-cut nut that came on my Tele neck was cut too low, and the high E string popped out, and how they wouldn't give me a credit for $15. If not, I'm sure you can do a search if you really want the specifics.
Anyway, I heard from Gregg at Warmoth, and he informed me that they discussed my issue in a company meeting, and decided to cover pre-cut nuts the same as necks, with a 6-month warranty (I hope I have that correct). The new policy apparently is that if a nut from them is faulty (and Gregg said that only about 5 have been), they'll fix it or refund the money within the warranty period. The upshot is, they refunded my $15. I want to thank Gregg for bringing this issue up at the meeting, and for taking the trouble to contact me and issue the refund. It took some time, but they ended up standing behind their product, and for that I thank them. As a result, I plan to again do business with them in the future. As I said all along, I am very happy with all of the other products I received from Warmoth. The neck and body are excellent (see my avatar), and I am extremely proud of the guitar.
Again, thank you to Gregg and Warmoth for resolving this. I am now a satisfied customer, and the embargo is lifted!
Very cool!
