I can hardly wait to drop them in my LP Studio. I was able to order them with gold covers too! I'm looking forward to the new tone they're going to bring to this guitar. Will there be a huge difference compared to the 490R amp; 498T that are in there now? What can expect?

i have that set in my 540s (with a duck in the middle) ... i think you are gonna love em ... they have alot of character and work well together ... enjoy!

I currently have a C5 in my fat strat amp; love it! I find it's powerful, but still lets that natural strat sound shine through. I'm sure the C5 will react differently in my LP as it should. A Strat amp; LP are two different entities. I just hope I don't lose that LP warm deep growl that makes the hairs stand up on my arms.

It's an awesome combo, you shouldn't be disappointed.

When I played mine, I always had it in the middle position, instead of just the bridge.. the '59 really helped fill out the sound of the C5.
