so i bought one of these new fangled single coil sized humbuckers for my bridge position. supposedly i can just drop it straight into my strat, but do i need a new pickguard and/or different pots? i'm totally new to guitar modifications so anything is of help to me. thanks.
Nope. That is why you can drop it straight in. No other mods/changes necessary.
