Anyone tried one? I have a Highlander in my National Style O but it sounds like a tin can! I end up playing it through a microphone when I play out with it. Has anyone here tried one of the National Resolectrics with the P-90 pickup and the Highlander on the cone? Thanks! Lew
Here's one that's on Ebay but this one lacks the Highlander pickup on the cone...just has the P-90.

John McFee of the Doobie Bros. uses one of these for a couple of tunes in their live show, sounds great, but I have no idea how he has it hooked up.
Looks like a fun guitar to own. Pickups shouldn't be an issue, since you're pretty much hooked up. he he

Yeah...I could replace that P-90 with an Antiquity or something! I've been asked to join the band at Unity of Boulder though (nice band!) and I want to be able to play some slide. My resonators don't amplify that well...they are real feedback machines. Anyways, I'm looking for alternatives and the Resolectric seems to the only alternative that can be played loudly enough to be used with bass, drums, amplified keyboards and a full choir! I'll have to see if Kit at the Old Town Pickin' Parlour has one in stock...although I'd prefer a used one for half as much!
