What's up guys.
Anyone here own/use a Bogner oversized 2x12? Just wondering what you think about it, and how it stacks up against other 2x12's and 4x12's. I hear it gives more punch, thump, and sound coverage than your average 2x12, but just a little less than a 4x12. Sounds like it could be the perfect compromise between the two for sound coverage, size, and portability.

Thanks!

I've played through one before. IMHO it's the best 2x12 out there. It sounds huge and is about as cumbersome as a typical 2x12.

I use either the 4-12 or 2-12 Bogner cab with the Ecstasy head, and choose the cab depending on how much air I need to move. Of course, the tone of the 4-12 is better, but when you're using a 100W head, the 2-12 is much more reasonable.
I really like all Bogner stuff. I'd be satisfied if I owned nothing but amps from that company. It's expensive, but if you're a bluesrock/heavy rock/metal player, your search is over.

Lookswise, I think the 2-12 cab looks better with a canefront head, while the 4-12 looks better with the metalfront head.....at least to me. Click on my gear to see some of it. I don't have a picture of the 2-12 on there. Right now, I own the Ecstasy head, metalfront AND canefront headshells, the 4-12 Vin 30, and the large
2-12 Vin 30. I have a roadcase and Tuki cover for the head, and a roadcase for the 2-12. I only bought the alternate headshell because a mint one popped up for half price, and I wanted to have 2 different looks for the head. Yes, I Jones. LOL

Nice gear, Gearjoneser!

Forgot to mention that I wanted to know what you guys think about the Open back configuration compared to the closed back.
