Oh man, what a beautiful sounding amp too. Since I first tried one a while back I've been reading up and asking a lot of questions about this amp and yesterday I finally bought one. When I got it home I think I spent close to two hours playing with just my guitars, a cord and the amp listening to that clean tone. I could finally hear that overall quot;presencequot; that seemed to be lacking before. I read where a lot of people said they thought this amp was too bright but I don't find this to be the case at all. I've still got some tweaking as far as pedals are concerned but so far the results are very, very satisfying. For an at home player like me this amp is perfect. Due to the relatively low wattage and decent cabinet size you can get a nice full robust sound playing clean or with pedals without ripping your ears apart. But it can get loud too! I love the simplicity of the layout. Just plug in and play! My only regret is that I waited so long to buy one!

The DRRI is a great amp indeed. I use two of them in stereo.

My first step on a journey of discovering what great tone was all about was buying a DRRI used at the Boston Guitar Show.

It's still a bit of a benchmark for me when it comes to what makes great tone.

That's terrific! There's nothing more motivating than playing through great sounding gear. Enjoy!
