Yeah, how do I do that? It's not because any of my strings have broken yet or anything, I just want to know how to change the strings. And as you can see I am a newbie, or else I wouldn't be asking this question, so I would prefer if you could explain it so I would be able to understand it, and if you had any pictures of how to do it, feel free to post them too.
just like any normal guitar. out the string into the back and pull it out in front.
On a Tele, for example, you would feed the strings through the little holes in the back. It comes out through the bridge, and all you have to do is pull it until it stops. The rest is just like any other guitar.
I don't understand, if I just pull it through then won't it just go through?
yes it will go thru.. but there is a quot;ballquot; at the end of your string that will lock it so the end stays in place securely.
have u change strings on any type of guitar before? tell us if u have or havent so we can help easier.
I haven't actually, since this is my first guitar and I haven't changed any strings yet, that's why I ask this much. I have just been practicing alot so far, trying to learn some stuff, and I haven't tried to change the strings yet, or tried any technical things with the electronics of the guitar or amp.
i see. its not difficult at all .
ok,here's what u do:
cut the old string, remove it.
look at new string, one end has a ball, one does not.
put the end without the ball thru the body from the back
pull the string out from the front and towards the tuning peg
make sure the ball end is locked securely at the back of your guitar
put it thru the tuning peg, leave some slack
for the rest see from : localhost//forum/s...ead.php?t=5248
try and see. hope it helps.
Thanks, you've been a great help pac.
