I am going with the Governors in both my cabs mixed with the g12t75 and manowar or wizard. The Swamp thang is definateley the biggest bass and wallop of all the Eminence I tried but I have too much bass in my amp and need to tone it. If yoo play heavy mmusic or like big bass and clarity you will like these alot. They sound raunchy in a good way and kinda dark but have great highs also so you dont sound like mush. The Wizards are the best to mix with these as I tried every comination with my Eminences as I bought about 9 or 10 different ones. I may be selling the wizards soon if the g12t75 mixes well with the Governors I have. Not sure yet as I need some g12t75 speakers at 8ohms. Possible trades cash if you have the g12t75 8 ohm speakers.

I failed to mention that even though these speakers are over a month old they have less than 8 hours on them as I tried the governors and manowars the longest.

Cant beleive there are no metal guys buying these as they deliver more bass than the EV Zakk wylde uses and are very similar.

That is such a great deal. They've been given good reviews at the Gear Page. I'd be intrested, but I have a Mesa and I think the combo would be a little too much bass. I think you'll like The Governors.

I have a Mesa rectifier as well. It does sound good but I had mods done to my amp that fit better with the wizards and governors as the mods made my amp darker.

I have these 2 swamp thangs still in the box now. Very little hours on them. 10/10 condition

So, I have a 4 ohm 2X12quot; cab, I could just put these speakers in and re-wire it the same way and it should still be 4 ohms right?

yep, run them in parallel for 4 ohms or in series for 16 ohms.

I LOVE THOSE SPEAKERS!! Really have become my favorite as of late. They love my old Gibson cab.
