Are these pedals any good? They look very attractive at $19 each. I wonder if I buy a couple and I'm not satisfied, can they be Spina modded?
Thanks for your feedback.
They sound good, but I wouldn't trust them for serious gigging use. The enclosures are plastic. That's a question of durability there. For playing around at home though, sure, why not.
Ive got the distortion. It sounds as good as any Boss that I own.
As far as the plastic goes, as long as your not throwing these things around it shouldnt be a problem. MF has them for $14, and for that price, I can afford to replace it every couple of years
I'm gonna have to give the Distortion and the Overdrive a try.
Well i just bought the Metal and i am not really happy with it. Very buzzy and thin.

Are any of the other Danelectro pedals any good:
DJ-6 Pepperoni Phaser Pedal
DJ-3 BLT Slap Echo Pedal
DJ24 French Fries Auto Wah Pedal
Thanks for your feedback.
I have all those amp; more, I got them to use for recording. The only one that I don't like is the French Fries; I couldn't get it to work for me. I don't gig with 'em.
Additonaly, I think the Tuna Melt tremolo is a great sounding pedal. The French Toast Octave fuzz is cool too.
I looked inside of them, they use incredibly tiny surface mount components, you’d have to be a fly surgeon to mod 'em.

Dude, you record with these! That's cool. I was thinking that I could get these for now until I'm ready to gradutate to some more expensive effects such as the Small Stone phaser, and a real TS808, and a DD-3 delay. Surely they'll be good enough to play at home until I'm ready launch my world tour which may be at least 2 years away.
Big Boy Bob, are you a Danoelectro sales rep?
