Hey Guys/Girls,
Has anyone of you guys seen and/or played the B.C. Rich Virgo? In my opinion the Virgo looks like a badass guitar.
If anyone owns one or have seen one please reply back to me. Pictures welcome.
Rock On
i once played the 04 virgo model and it was pretty cool if you ask me(except the crappy stock pickups like on all import riches). the feeling was good and the playability was nice, too. The look is awesome to my eyes(although it got even better with the 05 models with the skull inlays and the black/white finish). It's a cool guitar once the stock pups are changed for emgs or duncans. I gotta say i put it down for an 04 NJ Beast with speedloader trem(i just need trems).
for those of you who don't know the virgo:
04 models: from : localhost/ from : localhost/models: from : localhost/www.bcrich.com/press/20_jan_2005_virgo.asp
I heard it once at my music store, pups sound... cheap somehow...
those pups not only sound cheap but they are cheap and not good for anything, with some nice SDs it should really become a good sounding guitar
Hey,
Do you know where I can find the 2005 Virgo? Guitar Center, Daddie's Junky Music?
What are some good pickups to match the sound of The Misfits?
Oh by the way...what should I replace the single coil with? Do they seel plates just to cover the hole if I wanted to get rid of the single coil?
according to my ears and the sound it gave me when i tried it it's not a single coil but a single-sized bladed humbucker. if you exchange the pups change both pickups or else you may have a good neck pup but the bridge would still be crappy. I have no idea about little buckers but for the bridge a dimebucker would rock(it rocks everywhere).
