Fender (or similar) No-Load pots...do they really make a difference? And can they be used for volume and tone, or just tone?

A no load pot on quot;10 quot; is essentially the same as disconnectiing the pot, there´s quite a tonal difference.
they will work on Volume and /or tone.

You get more highs and more output because of the pot's resistance being out of the circuit on 10...I always make my own..
Makes a big difference both tonally and for output. I just rewired my strat for the JV set up (Bridge tone/Neck tone only) and I couldn't believe the output and tone that came out of the middle pup when taken out of the tone loop. I had to lower it a bit to balance everything out again.
