Any idea when the new Duncan stacks will be featured on the web site?CoachC
They are already in the tone chart and listed under the Stratocaster pickups ( from : localhost//products/strats.shtml ).... they´re the STK-S4 Classic Stack Plus ...... So, I´m not sure what you mean....
Nothing under the New Product release area yet though ...
There are a couple other threads here in the forum that have links to the patent information and to a Duncan publication giving some detailed information. Just use the search and you should find them ..
hi... how does it fare against SSL-3?
They're more vintage sounding...like a '62 Strat pickup but humcancelling, and not hot and overwound like the SSL-3.
look now the stacks are featured on the homepage!
and now it's already in ebay ;-)

Mojo, do they come with vintage mojo or do you have to create your own?

WHAT??? You mean you opened a business to SELL something... Blasphemy
Flux Transfer Plate??? I'll reserve judgement, but I tend to raise an eyebrow whenever 'flux' is used in a technical term...

LOL...quot;Back to the Futurequot; has ruined you. It's a real life, no foolin' scientific term. I don't think Dr. Brown has anything to do with these pickups.
I remember talking about flux in physics class in relation to Gauss' Laws of electricity.
quot;I have seen the Flux Plate ....... and it is good!!quot;
It brings hope, happiness and properity to all who gaze upon it!!

Bingo! Give that man a Cigar!
I know flux is a real, technical term...it's just that it tends to be overused to some extent, when the recipient needs to be 'wowed with technicality'
Honestly, I hope for SD's sake that these things are the real deal...because I don't think we need another single coil noiseless design that misses the mark...So regardless, I'm staying cautiously optimistic...
Om;y problem is, the pups need plutonium before each gig.
Yippeee .... The UPS man just dropped off some white covered ones!!
I guess Evan was right, delivered by Christmas ....

So . . . with these pups, do we need the flux capacitor on the tone control?
(Which, of course, gives it that 50's tone.)
Artie
Yeah, and can also turn garbage into something useful ( like a Wamart bought Gibson)
