Hi there...
I wanted to wire position 5 to be bridge and middle in series. Is this possible without adding additional switches or replacing pots?
Thanks
Hi vlad; Welcome to the forum. There's no quot;goodquot; way to do it without adding another switch, but there is a way to do it, if you don't mind a compromise of the #4 notch position. You'ld end up with:
1. neck
2. neck and middle (normal parallel)
3. middle
4. middle
5. middle and bridge in series.
This would work with a standard 5-way, you'ld just have a duplicate of the middle-only position.
I can post a diagram tomorrow, if you'ld like. (Just finished a 10-hour day. I'm pooped tonight.)

Glad to be here...
Anyway... That would be great if you can post a diagram.
I wanted to give this a shot before getting a hotter bridge pickup. If I like it, I might get one of those Fat Eddie switches (or whatever they're called). It's worth a shot.
Cool . . . I'll post it sometime tomorrow morning. Its pretty simple. Just hard to describe.
I was just thinking . . . its not that hard to describe. Just wire up your three pups as a standard Strat, like this:
from : localhost//website...ol_2tones.html
But make one small change. Take the bridge ground wire, and connect it the 5-way in the same place as the middle quot;hotquot; wire, instead of ground.
That'll do it.

Thanks bro!
That sounds easy enough... I'll give that a shot tomorrow.
