I know that in order for me to do this, the circuit needs an additional 2 ohms, but where do the 2 ohms go in the circuit? In parallel from the hot to the neutral? Or just in series on the hot? Also, what kinda resistor? Wire wound?
Why would you need to reduce the current? A circuit will draw only what it needs.
How did you come up with 2 ohms?
You need a flux-capacitor.
Oh, wait... that's 1.21 jigowatts and a bolt of lightning...
im guessing this is for a pedal. dont worry about. they are designed with voltage/current rise in mind.
