The cryptic thread title is a bit of a ruse. I'm referring to SD pickups made for the Jazzmaster and Jaguar.
I'm seriously looking into upgrading the weak and feedback-drenched excuses for stock pickups currently sitting in my Jaguar, and I'm thinking the QPs are probably the way to go as I want more bass, more pronounced mids, less brightness and better response to gain, not to mention a more competitive volume level.
Anyone tried any of the sets on offer, and what did they think as compared to the stock ones in either the MIJ/CIJ or AVRI Jags.
