I recieved my USA Custom Guitar neck in the mail, and I have changed my plans on buying a Strat and using it there, and now have decided to go with a Warmoth mahogany strat body, with a KOA TOP! Rear routed too....It will take a while before it all gets put together, but I think it will be great...

For a less 'traditional strat' look and feel, I am for sure putting two humbuckers and a Wilky or some nice tremolo. Also, I think I may do a side jack and two knobs (V and T) and a selector 3 way switch...

What dyall think?

Nice... Wilkinsons are pretty nice sounding. I'm considering putting together either a Strat or VIP body off Warmoth, with an HB in the bridge, P90 in the neck.

Ah a VIP would be awesome for me also....but the Strat-ish headstock would look out of place on one....

Do consider the Soloist body, at least if higher fret access means anything.
