just browsed the jackson forums and the marketing guy said that if you want a maple fretboard jackson, you MIGHT want to buy a new import in january!!!!!!how frickin sweet is that?but, i dont care much, cos i'll have a maple fretboarded rhoads by that time HAHA
I hope it'll be a DK2 with maple board, and have a TOM. Ah well we'll see. I can't wait!
i am more hoping for a HH version of the DK2
Yeah, a DXMG with a maple fretboard would rock.
Agreed.

since i own a DXMG i say they allready rock pretty hard. But i think it would look somehow odd havin a completely black guitar with maple board. But they should build one with ebony and no inlays
Hmmmmm, is it made in Japan? Or another foreign location?
japan
and i just creamed my underpants... DKMG with a maple fretboard.. wow
just WOW, that would ROCK so much
theodie, japan. i think even the JS line was moved from indonesia to japan, but dont hold me for my word (zerb is the one to ask)
and i know that they wont open another korean facility..
so expect an MG, Pro series .. i doubt they will add it to the X series, but you never know..
JS is India but for the JS30.
XT used to be India, but now all Japan, I THINK.
Everything else that's not USA select is Japan.
Sweet!!!!!!!!!
That's pretty awesome. I'd definitely like to check out one with a maple board.
well.. if things go as planned.. you'll be seeing a maple necked rhoads till the end of the year hehe

*HOOOOOONK* I´m Sorry, but that ´s not the answer we were looking for... Johny, tell Davey what he´s lost
Originally Japan, then moved to INDIA, then moved back to japan, now either moved back to India or 50/50 Japan /India... I think they´ve fully moved the JS to Bangalore, though
All other J/C guitars outside the JS series are AFAIK USA or Japan made.. BTW the Artist Signatures (ex. PC-1) are Japanese, some still seem to be expecting USAs for that price (lt;1k new)
and i know that they wont open another korean facility..
Yep,You live and you learn... so does Jackson
BTW, If I had to bet I´d put 50$ on DK-2H Originally Posted by Loserchiefsince i own a DXMG i say they allready rock pretty hard. But i think it would look somehow odd havin a completely black guitar with maple board. But they should build one with ebony and no inlays
They Did.. It was called the AT-1 and didn´t sell well enough to warrant keeping it in the line for more than 3 years... had to sell mine to cover studio costs, beautiful and unbelievably comfy axe

i know that they moved that series around a bit.. didnt know where it ended up though =P
the js35 is japan though, isnt it? not that i care much
i'd just like to see a HH config guitar.. or a single bucker would be cool too.. can always route it for a neck... but, i guess we will all have to wait hehe
whats the big deal w/ maple ?

I've said this on every guitar forum I frequent : Where did all the maple boarded shred axes go?? Glad this is coming, though I doubt I'll buy one since I'll have a maple boarded shred axe as soon as Laz Gajic has worked his magic for my Ibanez...
I know the JS1 and JS20 are made in India.
JS-1 and JS-20 are definitely india, the JS-30 Dinky is AFAIK Japan, the Jury seems to be undecided on the JS-30 and JS-35 KV, RR, KE and WR . Japan would seem more likely, but the dot spacing seems to be on the wide side, which would denote Indian... I´ll dig that out or manage to pull it out of John Walker´s nose, no biggie
