Hello All:

I have an APS-2 Single coil that I am about to install, and I was wondering if the standard issue Fender covers will fit?? I see that Musicians Friend stocks SEymour Duncan Covers, but I need to know if these are spaced differently then the Fenders, or if the only difference is the SD logo on the cover.

I'm pretty sure the Fender's will fit 'em just fine. I sure hope so anyway, cuz I'm gettin' a couple SSL-5's and I'll be putting covers from my Fender on 'em.

Very few single coils need special covers. Stacked single coils might need different covers and the quarter pounders don't have covers. The same is true for Dimarzios only a few wont fit under fender covers or don't have covers. The ones that don't have covers or need special covers are usually mentioned. I haven't run into a sd that didn't fit under a fender cover.

Good news - I have some Fender covers on the way, and then noticed later that SD has thier own!!

With the exception of rails, QP-style pickups and some wacko import single coils, covers will universally fit all single coil pups regardless of manufacturer
