im going to invest in a SD hum for the bridge position of my ibanez sa160qm, i was looking at H-11 and the dimebag signature.
its to be used for drop tuned metal (down to c) and general shred. it must also be touch sensative for tapping etc.
thanks guys
Go with the Dime.
i had a hard time deciding between the JB and the custom custom for a guitar a bit like yours a while back. I ended up going for the custom custom, but since your going to be tuning down so low, the custom custom may end up getting muddy. I'd go for a JB, you really cannot go wrong with a JB. On the dimarzio side of things, if you're interested, an Air Norton would sound awesome as well.
yeah im thinking about the dime... but i think ill stick with seymour duncans, ive got dimarzios in my other guitar :P
Dime used a duncan dimarzio combo a lot.
I use a JB in the bridge. Its killer, and i cant see anyone needing much more output, even and evo or emgs.
Im playing with a dimarzio Breed humbucker in the neck and sounds great too.
I can definitly recommend the JB tho, or perhaps a DMZ Evo!
dime would be cool
maybe a custom or a distortion too?
someone recommended the 'full shred'... is that a good idea?
