For sale is a Marshall JMP-1 MIDI Pre-amp in excellent condition. I am not the original owner. However, I have never used it. I bought it planning to use it along with a power amp and cabinet, but since then I have decided to abandon the rack idea and go for something different, so this amp is up for sale. Comes with power chord and user manual.

I didn't think so...we were trying to work out a deal, but hit this snag.

Anyone know what a conversion would entail? I know they have transformers/convertors that you can plug it into, but I'm not sure if that would just be a temporary fix.

OK PUCKBOY99 has pulled out of the trade because he doesn't need another amp so the JMP-1 is still for sale.

So take Maresz's advice and make me an offer!

How easily (and costly) is that aquired?

These things were sold in America too, right? Couldn't someone just call Marshall parts and order the US transformer? I doubt that 50/60hz is an issue.

Yeah, Puckboy had contacted someone at a music store. He had arranged to send the JMP-1 to him to get it converted. I think it was going to cost $40 if I remember correctly. Send him a PM to get all the details.

I checked with Trace at Voodoo Amps...he said they do it all the time for $49.95 return shipping.
