Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, I present to you my only slightly used 2000 Gibson Les Paul Studio:
Neither of these two photos really brings out the wood grain you can see through the transparent green finish, which is a shame, because it's really beautiful. I've never really seen a transparent green lp before, so when I saw it on the wall it immediately grabbed my attention.
It's also not an obnoxiously loud green, which is something else I like about it.
I grabbed it for under $1000 over a 2 month layaway period having only played it once but knowing from the moment I sat down with it that it was quot;the onequot;. It sounds beautiful, plays beautiful, and uh...makes me feel beautiful? I dunno, mere words cannot describe the audio nirvana I experience everytime I plug it in. (The quot;coolquot; factor is also undeniable)
and last but not least, the headstock:
Shoulda gotten the Flameburst!
Haha, just kidding around. That's one beautiful guitar, I really, really like that green. Reminds me of a BMW with a British Racing Green finish; elegant, yet aggressive.
Nice score on the gee-tar, I now envy you.
Very sweet looking! Enjoy!
IIIIIIInteresting. I always wanted a guitar in British Racing Green....
Nice Paula! Congrats
I've been eyeing a couple Studios. Never had one, but have a played a few that were tone monsters...alotta guitar for the money if ya search through and pick a good'un

I'd replace the mounting rings, pickguard and toggle switch washer with cream parts, and possibly upgrade the hardware to gold. Oh- Amber speed knobs too. Green is for da money, gold is for the honies
Nice. I like that color. Makes me miss my black studio from the early 90's. Oh well.
Now, polish that beautiful thing.
That's a hell of a nice guitar, I thought the transparent wine red Lp studio was the best ever Lp color. But it is actually the best ever Lp color with this sublime transparent green.
A shame they discontinue it, or is it a kind of a custom color?
I want one now.
That is a lovely guitar, and a really cool color. Don't change a thing!
My buddy has that same guitar. I almost traded my MIA strat for it. It's a really nice color.
that is nice and unique. nice catch!
Gibson LP Studios rule~!!! What a finish, what a finish Love that axe, man.
