7. Worst guitar moment- Convincing my parents to buy Line 6 spider when I was 16. Almost bankrupting myself to buy a Gibson. All those times I played the guitar in college and didn't get laid for it. All those cheapo guitars I bought and sold because I didn't know what a good guitar should be. Being 10 minutes late to my grandma's house and missing out on a free Sunn bass head.

8. Most memorable forum moment- being christened Slade. Arguing with people over various religions. My first post (in the Rick James death thread as I recall). All those trolls. Erecting shrines to the Hoff.

-I have a Soldano Hot rod 50 on hold this week, so that'll be it for amps for a long time. For guitars, either a Les Paul Special or a PRS McCarty Soapbar.

-Pressed for one, I'd say 'The Seed' by The Roots

-My own stuff. Outside of that, anything by The Meters, Freddie King, Van Halen...

-So many. Probably the first time I played galatos with my band. Our first decent sized venue.

-Doing a riser leap onto a marble floor. I hobbled around like a cripple for a week. And numerous bad deals involving 80s hair guitars.

-learning heaps off the likes of Lew and Curly, always disregarding number limitations when doing lists, hassling god botherers, prog nutters and metal kids, and goading GJ into buying a Tele by repeatedly questioning his manliness over a period of months.

I'm a total schizophrenic about things like this... I like everything from The Killers to Eisley to 311 to Dream Theater.

Anything by Joe Satriani is great fun to play. I've been playing quot;Up In The Skyquot; a lot lately.

Playing in front of people and getting cheers instead of simple applause, jamming with my best friends, discovering Music Man guitars. Just the simple joy of discovery in the early stages is a magic that I can always remember with fondness, but can rarely re-experience.

7. what is the stupidest thing you have done in regaurds to playing guitar/bass.

Wasted my time and money with so many effects pedals, decision paralysis, selling my Les Paul for an Ibanez and selling my JCM800 because I didnt know about attenuators.

6. what is your fondest memory regarding playing the guitar/bass Hearing for the first time the playback of the first complete (all instruments and vocals) demo my band recorded, and being half crocked while doing so.

Probably just talking with Jeff Seal about amp building. I've never been on the phone with someone who had the job I dream about before.

He joked quot;you do know there's an on/off switch don't you?quot; I just BSed quot;yeah but it just kept dying on me at home.. must be my cables I guess..quot; I swapped that Cry Baby for an RP100 as the wah wasn't me anymore

- Forum jams ( tips n clips in general) many forum members (too many to list) and most of all being able to talk about nerdy stuff like replacement parts for guitars without getting told to shut up!
