Alright, so instead of buying a tube head and having to go through the trouble and all (I'm a generally lazy guy) I decided to settle on the Vox AD120VTH. I just gots a couple questions that need answering..
1) Can it handle low end fine? Like, massive low end. If you listen to any stoner rock, you know what I mean.
2) Can it handle extremely down-tuned guitars?
3) How are the Marshall models? Do they sound real close to Marshalls, or no?
and lastly..
4) What's the best OD for crushingly heavy, fuzzed out 70's style rock, and how's the phaser on it?
Thanks I know there's a few guys on here that have a lot of know-how with the AD120VHT, and for the price it seems right for me.. once I get the $$, of course.

We both play different styles of music as I Play blues and classic rock....The biggest key with this amp is getting the correct cabinet....I wasn't really thrilled until I Put a set of Vintage 30s into the closed back matching Vox AD 2X12 cabinet...
If you want tight thumping lows, you'll need a closed back cab that is dense and has speakers that can retain some tight headroom...
I didn't care for the UK 70s and the UK80s models until I got the V30 speakers as I felt the mids were wrong,in fact I was using an eq in the effects loop to correct the mids earlier on...The modern UK and the UK90s tones are pretty cool,as are the SLO 100 and the Dumble high gain tones...The amp is loaded with tones for all styles but just make sure you look into getting the right cab and speakers...
A 4x12 would satisfy everything you mention but it would be heavy to carry around and maybe out of your budget?
Great amp though and myself and gearjoneser(GJ had his first) got a bunch of people on this forum really into these amps!
