Does anyone have any experience with these? Expecially the Gothic Flying v?It looks kinda interesting but i know nothing about the company or the guitars.

I'm not sure about their guitars, but they make some damn tasty chili.Hahahahaha. thats the first thing i thought of when i saw the name.

I've heard some pretty bad things about Stagg's quality, though I haven't played one myself.

Man, Yesterday some teenage girl was like, quot;I have a stagg guitarquot;. amp; I was like, quot;do u mean stang?, is it a Fender?quot; amp; she was like, quot;no, it's a Stagg.quot; amp; i was like, quot;get the hell away from me.quot;

That'a no way to pick up women 'Foamer.

ROFL!

I played a Stagg LP copy and it was absolute crap . Dead spots on the fretboard and hardly resonant. I honestly doubt it would burn if youd toss 1 into a fireplace.

But if you can test one you should they are fairly cheap and there is always the odd quot;goodquot; one

From what i hear, total cr@p! They make loadsa cheap musical instrument stuff from drum sticks (very cheap and my drummer broke a pair very quickly!) to cables, guitar stands to guitars. Ive seen them in shops and they look lame. I say save up and get an Epi V or something

Yeah im thinking they totally suck also,as i have yet to read anything to terribly good about them,which sucks because one reason i liked it was the fact that it had fret markers on the fretboard vs the epi gothic which doesnt.

Which brings me to my next question. What sucks about them? Pickups? Hardware? Body/neck? Everything that is attached to the guitar or even near it? Its presence on this earth?

'cause if its just the pickups,electronics or hardware i would treat this as a kit guitar and replace any and all that was crap.

Thanks for the responses.

I've heard the overall quality isn't really good... the wood especially...

Well my dad had one, a nylon classical, can't remember the model.
It sucked, the tuners didn't do their job, the fretboard was some sort of laminate which my father over the years managed to dig in with his fingernails in such a way you can make out his favourite chords, and it was the least resonant and the dullest guitar I have ever heard and my dad must have thought so too since he used to strung it with steel strings. It was my first guitar (I only have that and a Yamaha APX5, plus a uke and some other stuff like that) and that and the fact I learned to play on it are the only reasons I still have it. If you want when I get my camera in a few days I'll take some pictures and post the model name.
If I were you I would try it out to see if it sounded any good and if its confortable, try to figure out what kind of woods they used, not some laminate crap so it will last you some time, I would also consider changing the tuners.
Good luck
