OK, the Stratocaster has three as do some ibeenhad, but most guitars only have two...
Be honest, which do you use most of the time and why?
I mostly use my bridge humbucker of my H/H strat, I never play an entire gig with just that pick-up, but most of the time that's what I'm using.
TB-4 JB
bridge because i like that bright tone for everything.
Bridge Twangbanger or either a Scremon Demon fullsized bridge hummer or an A2 Hybrid I made that has a PGB/Custom bobbin together..
No matter what the guitar is, I lean hard on the bridge pickup...even with my Strats!
Neck for cleans, bridge for dirty................guess how often i clean up my sound hahaha

The Surfer Neck so far, either that or my SP43 with the tone real low.
I am a big fan of single (bridge) pickup guitars, I always seem to have at least one. Soon I will have two. They are just simple and uncluttered.
i'm on the bridge PU 95 % of the time...a neck pickup is just a bonus to me for occasional lead work and some clean stuff perhaps when it needs a warmer more round sound.

mike...I hear ya...I click to the neck pickup to do most of my lead work!
Bridge Twangbanger. She rock!!!
Varies from one guitar to another. I probably use the neck pup the most, but not by much.
Bridge. It's generally the brightest. I have a Strat, so very occasionally I may use Bridge/Neck combo, but only for some stuff.
Most of the time I use the bridge pup, but the neck is not that far behind. That goes for both my LP's and my strat.
Bridge hb for high gain stuff...........neck or neck/middle for clean parts and neck for slight overdriven parts........most of the time i use the bridge pos.
Bridge.
Ask this question on a jazz forum and I imagine you'd get the opposite result.
I rarely, almost never, use the bridge by itself. Its either the neck, or some combination of pups. Then again . . . I lean toward more quot;jazzyquot; playing.
About 75% bridge, 25% neck - on a Les Paul.
