. . . is what it says in the SD catalog.
quot;Great big single coil tone, reminiscent of a P-90quot; . . . to be exact.
Could anyone comment on this? Does a QP really sound like a P-90?
Thanks;
Artie
Hahaha, I dont think so, it sounds like an overly powerful single coil. Dull as **** with no character.
Want a single coil P-90? Get a Rio grande dirty harry or one of them quot;Strat 90'squot;Look at my post count, This is a TRUELY evil post :P
ahahahahahUNHOLY POST
****ING HAILS
The QP is just a loud full spectrum pickup. It doesn't sound like a p90. QP's sound kind of dull with 250k volume but sound good with 500k volume and 250k tone.

Well, I wouldn't exactly agree with that . . . I have two of them.
I was just wondering how close to P-90's they were. However, I'll take your word that they aren't too close.

Or a Gibson P-90, or a Duncan P-90, or a Rio P-90.
All the P-90's I've come across are single coils, unless you're talking about stacks.
