The quilt is too much. It would look much better with an ebony fretboard (like every other guitar on the planet with a rosewood fretboard), and black hardware.
I'd still take it though, hot damn would I take it in an instant!
ARRGGH! Putting an EMG is something like that is travesty! Beautiful guitar though! I'll loan you $.50

yeah i know it's a rosewood like wood, i was just being a smartass lol.
well even though the yellowcaster is now my #1 guitar (sad isn't it lol) i'll sell it to you. give me $3250 for it and it's yours hehehe.

That is nice! I really like the look of a pup without a mounting ring, too.
Dont have any money to loan you, though. Sorry.
feck it Mike. you can get a better axe from ESP custom shop.not considering the price.
pac...suhr's are hard to beat in quality for a strat like guitar! im not a big fan of the headstock but on this one it works! also i decided if i go custom shop anything i'm pretty sure it's going to be a charvel!! i'm either going to be doing that in the near future or i'll just have a custom charvel strathead clone made by other luthiers to get exactly what i want.

No you can´t. John is one of the best luthiers on the planet IMO, ESP and J/C Custom shops cost more or less the same (J/C is usually cheaper, btw) and are of comparable quality, but not quot;betterquot; in any way

Agreed!! Suhr's are one of the few guitars that are worth that kinda money. ESP customs are good, but in no way in the same league as Suhr and similar builders.

two words for you
Tom Anderson
I've noticed that pretty much every Suhr I see has a very gaudy top. I don't know if it's the pieces of maple he uses or the way he dies them, but the tops are always way too full of contrast.
I think that one is SHWING! That would rock hard, but it is a bit pretty pretty for me.
yeah, that kind of top is too exaggerated. It's like what people would consider classy...in the 80's.
