from : localhost/ I just came into some money (secret gift fund matures this year ) and I'm lookin for a new main axe. That's pretty sweet right there! I dig the semi-transparent white. What do ya'll think? Sure shot? Hah

I want one!!!
I'm not a big fan of Bigsby's, but that one looks nice. Reminds me a bit of the John5 version, in reversed colors:
J5 Telecaster with Bigsby
that is awesome, but WAY too expensive for a mexican! if it is in fact a mexican?
Hmmmm, I dunno. Aren't some of the mid lines made in Japan? Or am I an idiot.
How would a Bigsby on a Tele feel? Similar to a standard bridge when not in use? Most Bigsbys I've played didn't have too much of an effect on the feel of the strings.
japan made fenders nowadays aren't imported, they're made specifically for the japanese market.
Oh, gotcha. Thanks
Man, this is so frustrating, I wish Fender would put all the specs back up on their site. They did some sort of quot;upgradequot; thing, now there's no REAL info on the guitars . It's probably a 1.63quot; nut, would it be a slimmer profile? I think the 60's version is 1.65quot;.
Course, for cost effectiveness I may try to get a used American standard. But it defianately wouldn't be this cool.

That's mostly true, but not entirely. Some MIJ models are available in the US and elsewhere at any given time. A current example would be the aerodyne tele.
some of the mids are korean, my tele is korean amp; it's great quality
as far as that tele...jeez, buy it
looks like one rockin piece of gear

...and the Jaguar Baritone Custom...which I want.
Beautiful, but I'll be honest... It's the white blonde and black guard that turned my head.
Woah! I just found it on MusiciansFriend:
from : localhost/'V' neck? Ugghh... I've never been a thick neck guy before. They make a '60s version, too, though!
from : localhost/ Rosewood fretboard and NO WHITE BLONDE! Yeah, I definately agree, Butch, white blonde is about as cool as the bigsby itself. I don't know if I could handle a thick neck. What other Fenders come with soft V necks? I'll have to go down and play some. I'm seriously thinkin about getting a used american standard and, if I really want a Bigsby, getting one of the conversion kits. But I have a feeling I would leave it as it is
Ahhh, we'll see. Definately thinkin some AP2s
Aaron
[EDIT] Oh, yeah, one of the reviewers mentioned that it was Japanese. But that standard is sounding better and better. They play so nice...
