and i'm loving it! i did end up getting the one i played in the GC by me, and it already played great right off the shelf. and the sustain! i'm used to playing an SG, and this guitar definitely sustains a lot longer. fretwork is perfect...no sharp ends sticking out, no excess glue on the fretboard, and they all seem to be level. this is one of the most comfortable guitars i have ever played.
i'm having a ball with this guitar, and now i've got a good start on my gibson collection . pics to come soon.
Congrats Bro!
UPDATE THE SIG!

Pics....don't make us come and take your new Lester for breaking the rules right off the bat.
i'll have pics very soon. i'm digital-camera-less at the moment, but as soon as i kill this roll of film i'll scan them and get them up. gotta love doing it the old fashioned way
Hey Mutton, where in Michigan are you? There are a couple of people in Michigan that have digital cameras and I might be one of them.

HA!!
fat chance of getting to play the lester
GOOD FOR YOU BRO!!! looking forward to pics as well!!!
Glad you got the one you want...amp; played
It's been over 12 hours since you posted.
Pics...NOW!
For the money, those things are hard to beat. They were on special awhile back at MF for $800, IIRC too.
Sustain on a Paula is..well...hard to surpass. Even my FB studio with nearly as much mass as an Explorer is no contest to a Paula
I feel a forum butt whoopin' commin' on for not showing PICS!!!!!
I know exactly how you feel I just got an ebony Epi les Paul Custom to replace my SG as my main player. I'm lovin the way it plays. I'd upload a picture but I get fill type incorrect message on this site.
alright alright, i'm working on the pics, haha. long day at work today, but i'll have them tomorrow almost for sure. (yes, i admit that i'm slacking, there's no excuse for that )

i'm actually living in chicago right now, just moved here not too long ago for school. but normally i'm from a town a few miles north of detroit called berkley, right near royal oak and birmingham. how far away is redford from there?
got some straplocks for it yesterday and a nice strap for it to give it it's own sort of character...now i'm in business. although i can't decide if i like the way it looks more with the pickguard on there or with it off (despite the very small screw hole that's still on there). but i'll have pics of it both ways
Leave the pickguard off man. I love the way a studio looks without a pickguard, nice and sleek showing all the contours of the top. It's all what looks best to you though.
i've had it off for about a day and a half now, and i still haven't wanted to put it back on. i think i'm with you on this one, DA.
