Hi all, this is my second post again...
I'm currently working on my Washburn guitar again and it seems that the Washburn uses linear long shaft mini pots. (Which I can't seem to find audio tapered replancements!)
Personally I prefer audio 250k pots.. (I'm actually trying to make a H-H guitar with DiMarzios sound strat! ) presently using an 82k tapering resistor to simulate an audio pot.
from : localhost/I'm very confused is this: What values should I be using to simulate a 250k pot then?
From the project guitar website it says to use 2 1-Meg resistors wired in parallel on terminals 1 and 3 of the pot..
So in that case if I were to do both mods, what values should I use?
2x1 Meg - terminals 1 and 3
1x82k - terminals 2 and 3?
Or should I be using a 41k resistor instead for the second pot, since it's modded to 250k already?
from : localhost/thanks in advance.
Oh ya, if anyone could direct me to audio tapered, long shaft, mini pots, that would be greatly appreciated as well!
anyone?
