I am wanting to purchase a crybaby wah and was wondering if it is worth the money to get the one with the Fasel inductors. Also if you have a problem with a wah how easily can they be repaired? Thanks
I've got a 535Q with a Fasel and i much prefer it to the non-fasel ones. The tone just seems a touch more quot;vocalquot; like the wah effect is more pronounced.
As for the new crybabys, they've gone to computer-like printed circuit boards so I don't think you can mod them. You can with Voxes though! Replacements for jacks, pots, and switches are available online but usually there's some type of warranty on them. For repair on the NEW ones I'd just contact crybaby and send it in.

I can more than likely repair your wah if you have any problems with it...I mod them and so I Know what makes them work..
I also prefer the fasel over the stock Dunlop inductor..I Like the red fasel better than the yellow.
The reason I ask is I have found one that I would like to purchase, but was wondering if something was wrong with it just how hard it would be to fix. Thanks guys.

John,I have an older Dunlop 535Q Wah. It's the model with the Q and Boost adjustments mini pots sticking out of the bottom plate. Would it be possible to replace the stock inductor with a fasel inductor on these models? I've been getting back to playing again lately. I've sold most of my gear already and kept the ones that i know i'll be using. Thanks
