The guitarist from rooster plays les pauls (on sponsership it looks like) through two vox AC30s...and man that guy has some serious tone!

I am quite a big fan of theirs before they came touring here in Aus just cos i really dig their songs and most of all their classy solos and stuff...of which is very lacking from most other new acts. But when i went to see them i must admit i didnt know what to expect cos i thought they'd just be a bunch of poppy pretty boys who wouldnt be able to pull off a show...well i was totally wrong! They were kinda trendy pretty boys and the young girls loved them, but man did they rock! They really rocked hard!!! They knew how to put on a rock show, from the ripping soloing to the extra bits they added on the end of some songs to just jam it out on...all i can say is that in my opinion (and im a hard man to please when it comes to quot;realquot; rock) Rooster is up there, and they are there to stay! If you are a fan of all that rocks, go see them live...top show!!!

I know the guitarist form Rooster (Luke something?) uses Bare Knuckle pickups, can't remember which model though, one of the PAF ones...

Dont' really know much of their music, only what I've heard on the radio, sounds liek they are worth a look?.

Whatever they are though, combined with his Vox amps he gets great tone....yeah i know i said it already, but $hit ill say it again!

Bare Knuckle Pickups are a british brand of pickups which are made in Devon

They do have a few models of PAF inspired pickups, but it's not all they do

So Rooster are the real deal then? I don't know much about them, but I've seen them on TOTP a couple of times. The songs seemed good, but they do look kind of quot;groomedquot; and I wasn't sure whether they were a variant of the Busted/McFly boy-band-with-guitars theme. Sounds like they're not if they can really jam it up live!

Yeah they really jammed it up full on rock style live...im a pretty hardened rock dude and grooming aside, these guys are the real deal in my book!
