I'm wondering what you guys would suggest for a bridge humbucker in the following guitar,
-Alder Strat
-Vintage trem, (never used, just came stock)
-Swimming pool rout
-28 5/8quot; scale length baritone bolt on neck
-Maple neck with rosewood board
-500k pots
-h-h-s configuration
-Dimarzio VV solo single coil in the neck
-Duncan(Roman) Black/back neck model in the middle

This guitar will be a backup for my H-207 so I need something that can keep up with the Invader in terms of overall volume. I play metal with a guitar tone that borders on Colony era In Flames, with more overall mids. I'm thinking of a TB-5, TB-14, or a Dimarzio Drop Sonic.

What do you guys think? The rest of my gear is in my sig.

if you want mids and something that can keep up with an invader id say a patb-2 would be worth checking out. listen to the sound samples and a/b it with the invader to see what i mean.

the custom is cool too but not as fat or hot as the invader. the c5 probably isnt a good choice since the mids are pulled back some

Please keep in mind that I'm using a 5150 2, most of my mids generally come from my amp or else it would turn into a giant nasal attack.

I think I may want to state right now that it doesn't matter to much if the pickup quot;isn't quitequot; as hot as an invader. In my experience the overall output leve a pickup really affects the tone, and eq interaction of the amplifier more than the volume that comes out. The Custom in my Les Paul keeps up with the Invader in my H-207 in terms of overall volume, it's the tone however that is drastically different.
