Anyone know about the pickups on this thing? The Fender website says that the neck humbucker is a custom '59 Duncan and the bridge is a custom vintage Texas Tele pickup.

Anybody ever hear Albert use the neck pup alone?
He used N B a lot, sounded pretty unique, but then everything he did was unique so it'd be hard to pin his tone on just pickups.

I agree. The tuning, the amps, the 100' cords, playing without a pick and the capo and all that stuff had an affect on his tone.
According to the video he did with Keith Wyatt, Albert says he used either the bridge pickup or neck and bridge together.
I'm just curious about that guitar and the pickups.
