...Got one the new quot;babyquot; handwired Marshall's in....(bad tube, probably occured during shipping....)

Installed new JJ 12ax7 and fired her up!

I had heard the demo's from NAMM and liked the way it sounded, but it was quot;borderlinequot; disappointing for me....not particualrly quot;inspiringquot;, but not bad either....had quot;lifequot; but not quite like the Super Leads....(of course, I'm not a huge fan of EL84's anyway!...). I'm thinking this is one of those amps that requires a sustantial amount of quot;experimenting withquot; to find killer tones...(as with all things worth having!!!)I'll try it again tomorrow with V30's...not giving up on it yet!

Anyone else tried one of these yet?

im assuming its a head? ive played a few 18w combo clones and they were all KILLER!! most had either a g12m or g12h. the blockhead was especially nice, but not alot of headroom

Hey Jeff...have you seen the guys that are converting Fender Blues Jr's to 2 channel 18 watt Marshall clones? Think that's something that you might want to try?
