This thread has probably been done a million times, but I am severly bored so whatever....
Anyways, If you could have 1 amp(and cabs of choice), 1 guitar, and 3 effects pedals, what would they be?
Here is Mine
Guitar: Gibson SG, Black with small gaurd.
Amp: Electric amps quot;Purplequot; 120watt Non-master Volume Head and a quot;Purplequot; 4x12 and a 2x15.
Effects: Diamond Pedals Fireburst Fuzz/Distortion, Diamond Pedals Memory lane Delay/echo/Modulation and a Diamond Pedals J-Drive.
Fender HM Strat (Invader / SSL-5 / SSL-5)
JCM 2000 TSL 100 watt head 4X12quot; cab
Wylde Overdrive, Crybaby From Hell, SD pickup Booster
Rock On.
Guitar : Custom Made Ibanez Jem (LGM, Morgan, BlackMachine), Mahogany with Maple cap, Lo Pro Edge Trem, ebony fretboard, no vine inlay's just dots, 24 frets, probably with Bareknuckle Nailbomb set.
Amp : Cornford Hellcat halfstack.
Effects : Rocktron Hush, Digitech Digital Delay, Crybaby Wah.
Guitar: Custom (LGM, Conklin, BlackMachine) 7 string - slightly thinner version of my C-7 Hellraiser with an emerald flame maple top and ebony fretboard with no inlays.
Amp: Ideally, Framus Cobra with Dragon cabinets, but for this side of a grand, my 5150 and Rivera kick the **** out of anything besides the Framus and a few other high dollar amps.
Pedals: Maxon OD808, Boss NS-2.I'm close enough . I'm going to get another amp next, either an XXX, Single Recto, or Dual Recto, and then sell that and the 5150 later down the road and grab the Cobra.
I'm happier than a pig in $hit with my Hamer Standard Custom... barring the pickups, so I'd just swap them out...prolly for Wolfetone Marshallheads/BK Emeralds if price is not an issue..otherwise maybe a SH5/A2pro combo or DiMarzio Super D/PAF (most likely whats going in anyway). I wouldn't mind the same exact one I have with boomerangs instead of traps
Amp is tough.....def Marshall...David Bray modded 1987x or 2203 (either w/ footswitchable boost). 4x12 Marshall cab w/ 25w greenbacks.
Peds are pretty simple...good analog chorus..good analog phaser, and an good Analog delay.
I am more than happy with my LP Studio. It#8217;s not a boutique or the best looking, but it feels like home, and churns out some sick tone. I#8217;ll probably own many more guitars in my life, but I#8217;ll be surprised if I ever find one that completely replaces it.
As for amps, I still have no idea. One day I#8217;m lusting for a Splawn Quick Rod, the next I#8217;m digging a JTM45. There are also a lot of amps out there I haven#8217;t tried yet, so I can#8217;t say for sure what my amp would be. Ideally, though, it would be a channel switcher capable of high gain modded Marshall tones and Fenderesque cleans.
For pedals#8230; a good wah, compression/sustainer, and an analog chorus are all I think I#8217;d really need.
I'd say that I'm happy with the setup I have now which is just about guitar, three fx and amp...
Though I can't decide wheter my Tele or my soon to be Love Rock would be that one guitar... so it would be like this.
guitar: Fender Lite Ash Natural Tele or Tokai Love Rock LS-80
Haven't tried the better wahs, I own a Dunlop JH-1 which I'm quite happy with so...
effects: Dunlop JH-1 wah - V-Stack Classic - TS-808 RI
amp: Marshall Bluesbreaker RI combo
Guitar: 2000 Les Paul Studio, translucent green, no pickguard, stock everything else...
Amp: Traynor YVC50Blue. Except I'd get a mod where I could footswitch the reverb and control the level of the boost. I'd also love the chance to crank it!
Pedals: Ibanez DE-7 Delay, Boss PH-2 Phaser, and a good wahI actually own all this stuff and I'm pretty happy with it at the moment.
I've already got mine.
Mesa Dual Recto with standard 4x12 cab
American BC Rich Bich Supreme with natural finish mahogany body and flamed maple top
American BC Rich Mockingbird Supreme with natural finish mahogany body and flamed maple top
Above and beyond that I'd like an American BC Rich Wave and Eagle in the same as the two Riches I already have.
Probably the new Eden WT-1205.This thing looks like a whole lot of badass in one place- 1200w at 4 ohms. Ouch. from : localhost/www.eden-electronics.com/prod...iv/wt1205.asp#
Guitar: custom-made PRS copy to my specs
Amp: Ideally, a Bogner Ecstacy 101B, but until then, a Bogner Shiva will do!
Effects: Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah, Peterson Strobostomp tuner, some analog delay to be determined...
either my white strat or a '72 Telecaster Custom with my white strat's pickups in it...
into an orange rockerverb 50 2x12 combo with a green Electric Amps 4x12
with a small clone, a small stone and a good delay pedal.

Gibson Les Paul Standard, Wine Red, early 1990's
Rivera R30-12 combo
Guyatone TR-2 Vintage Tremolo, Smrcka OD-808 overdrive, Emma DiscumBOBulator.
I'll take a beer and a smoke.
