where can nice guitar body blanks can be bought online? Besides warmoth and without a heavy price tag.
i think carvin.com and stewmac.com may have, but warmoth really is the best for that type of thing, hope it works out.
from : localhost/the link, see if it works.
but if you think Warmoth is expensive, I doubt you'll want a Wayne body blank ...

If in Canada there is a good lumber store in Cambridge that does sell blanks on the net.... A amp; M Lumber in Cambridge Ontario is the cheapest. I don't have the web address handy. Aamp;M Lumber sell to furnature and guitar makers only....

USACG might sell blanks....
What do you have in mind? A custom shape? Or are you going to put strings and pickups on the blank and play it straight out? LOL.
I plan on going all the way with it. I think I'm gonna make a strat or an sg not sure yet. I'm a carpenter by trade but never tried to make an axe before. I'd love to try.

Tommy does sell tone woods for guitar bodies: from : localhost/folks over on the MIMF seem to like Luthiers Merchantile International as a wood source. Checking over on the Musical Instrument Maker's Forum makes sense...
I haven't bought a body blank yet so please check references. Hope this helps.

You can usually find blanks on Ebay for less than you'd pay at Warmoth, StewMac, or one of those places. The downside is that you don't really know about the quality of the wood, whether it's stable, if it's been properly dried, etc. I think it's worth paying a little more at a reputable place like Warmoth or USACG, as they will make sure you get a good piece of wood.
