ok guys...my brother has been bugging me to help him get a tone, I listened to the song today and I am stumped...does anybody here know what the bass player from Muse uses to get that funky synth/fuzz bass tone?

time is running out was two big muffs in serial
citizen erased *sounds* like a light envelope filter

the band in general are associated with black made-in-russia big muffs, but matts fuzz factory turns up everywhere

EDIT - on second listening, most of origin of symmetry's bass effects sound like light fuzz light envelope filter or auto wah..

and none of the sites on the web look at dom's gear
