I've been searching the forum for info so that I wouldn't have to bother anyone with this post. (I'm new here.) But, unfortunately, I didn't find anything...
I am putting a C5 in the bridge of my Strat. I want to split it, and I have always really liked the sound of the SC neck with the SC bridge. I'm trying not to add any switches, so could someone help me with the wiring for this 5-way?
1: neck
2: middle
3: neck bridge SPLIT (screw coil)
4: bridge SPLIT (screw coil)
5: bridge HUM
The only tone I'm missing in this set-up (that I use) is the neck middle. So, I'm open to suggestions if anyone has an idea for a better solution that would include that.
Also, do I need to worry about having one of the SCs RWRP?
Thanks!
Hello? Anyone? Bueller? (Artie?)
Uhm with a normal switch I'd have no Idea how to do that, but I'd know
1)bridge
2)neckamp;bridge split
3)neck
4)neck amp; mid
5)mid
Thanks. Sorry, I know I'm not terribly familiar with the way a 5-way is wired. Do you see any way for me to get the split bridge by itself also? I guess I may end up putting in push/pull pot.
thanks!
